The minimal requirements depend on the user’s operating system

The Playkey application runs on Mac OS X 10.7 and higher and on Windows 32- and 64-bit.


Windows XP:

  • CPU ≥ 2.6 GHz
  • DirectX 9.0c


Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10:

  • CPU ≥ 1.5 GHz for video card with hardware support for the H.264 decoding standard
  • CPU ≥ 2.6 GHz for video card without hardware support for the H.264 decoding standard
  • DirectX 9.0c


Mac OS X 10.7:

  • CPU ≥ 1.5 GHz for video card with hardware support for the H.264 decoding standard
  • CPU ≥ 2.6 GHz for video card without hardware support for the H.264 decoding standard
  • Opengl


Development of the application for Linux, iOS, Android, and webOS is postponed for an indefinite period, so that the current PC version of the client application can be improved.


How do I check my hardware’s decoding support?

Download, install, and run the DXVA Checker utility

If there are no lines with H264, it means there is no hardware support for decoding:

Important: If a user’s computer does not support hardware decoding, then during gaming the video will be visibly distorted:

  • A slide-show effect
  • A grainy picture
  • Horizontal stripes
  • A black or green screen with sound
