Why it happens:

In most cases, this error appears if something, programm or network settings, block access of our Playkey Client to our servers.

What to do:

First of all:

  • Restart your computer and/or router, make sure the connection to internet is reset and started over
  • If you have access to another router, try using it instead
  • Temporarily turn off anti-malware programm (add Playkey client to the list of exceptions), firewall and brandmauer
    If you are using Avast, try deleting it, it has been known to cause issues with our application and many others
  • Check port availability

If the problem persists:

  • Fully delete our application through system means
  • Delete all files in %APPDATA%\Playkey
  • Download and install the application (might need administration privelegies)
  • Make sure it uses standart installation path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Playkey
  • Try launching the game
